Gathering Young People's Voices
What are young people's experiences of travelling around their communities? What opportunities are there fore more active travel, and what barriers prevent it? Out toolkit is designed to facilitate young people's discussions into their neighbourhoods to understand more about how to create communities where active travel is more likely.
This site has our toolkit that you can use to work with young people and gather their voices on their communities in general, or active travel in particular. It includes step-by-step guides to helping practitioners from all professions (including teachers, uniformed organisations, social workers, youth workers, community workers, and more) hear from young people systematically, removing some of those barriers that prevent young people being heard, with activities that will promote real, meaningful change.
